Christmas 2009 Pictures

Christmas 2009 was super busy for our family as I am sure you have noticed in earlier blogs - but it was the most exciting, memorable, and magical Christmas with the addition of Jaxon.


Above: My mom and her sister and their children all get together at Aunt Cecelia's house on Christmas Eve every year here is a picture of Jaxon and his cousin Jack Nolan (Jack's birthday is August 7, 2009 - about a month ahead of Jaxon). Below is a picture of the youngest memebers of our family - Hayden (Justin's little girl), Jaxon, Jack Nolan (held by Aunt Terry who is Catherine's mom - Catherine is the one with the AMAZING pink headband)!!

Above: Hayden had a little car sitting in the living room - Jaxon had to try it out I just love this picture! Below - Aunt Fran has Jaxon, she is a super fun person - I love her so much!

Christmas morning we woke up around 5:30 - I had to roll Gabby and Jaxon out of bed (I can not imagine sleeping in on Christmas morning - Above is Gabby trying to figure out her snuggie. Below Jaxon and his daddy are checking out what Santa dropped off! It all looked so good to chew on!

Above: Jason is explaining the importance of the cell phone to Jaxon "This is the life line to JS Electrical and Plumbing service...it will become your best friend, always answer the calls, and make sure you return all messages!"

Above: This is a picture for mommy - A little pink pig, a rattle that makes a lot of noise and a cell phone!

Below: We had Grandma Ann and Granddaddy Freddie as well as Jammie and Granddaddy David all join us for breakfast on Christmas morning. We had Creme Brule' French Toast, Breakfast Fruit (Mrs. Elaine's recipie) and as Gabby calls them "Monkey Finger" Sausages! This is our Christmas tradition - has been since Jason and I were married! Grandma Ann and Jammie are Jaxon's babysitters and we all love them sooooo much!!

Above: Mimi came to our house to see what Santa had brought and them we went to her house - she gave Jaxon his first basketball goal - it cheers for you when you make a basket!

Grandma Jo, Grandaddy Nelson, Uncle Johnny, Uncle Robbie and Lee came to the house after lunch and brought us a bunch more presents - Jaxon got a new car seat and Gabby got a Karoake machine - Above Jaxon is looking at his new pal SCOUT - we can download things about Jaxon and SCOUT will play those favorite words - for example - my favorite food is....!

Christmas night we went to Jammie and Grandaddy's house to open presents with Adam and Elizabeth - Gabby got a mini fridge for her room and a BUNCH of other things, Jaxon got a John Deere tractor, a talking tool bag, and a BUNCH more toys and clothes!

Above: Elizabeth is getting her feel of babies - Jammie is ready for Elizabeth and Adam to have a little one so she can have another grandbaby to spoil. Below - All of the excitment from a day like Christmas is enough to wear any of us out - Jaxon got comfortable in Elizabeth's arms and knocked out!

The day after Christmas we had to go to Big M for a few things - but before we did that we stopped at Jammie and Granddaddy's for breakfast - Above: Jaxon is thinking "Momma, where are we going now - I just want to stay home and play with my toys"!

Below: Gabby playing with her DSi this was her big present from Santa - she has played it almost non-stop it is a lot of fun!

Saturday night we went to Grandma Ann and Granddaddy Freddie's house to have dinner with Aunt Stacey, Aunt Rebekah and their families - with five grandchildren in the house - it was non-stop fun!
